What is Klusterbox? (version 4.001)

Don't tell me what Klusterbox is, SHOW me what Klusterbox is. In this demo we cover two spreadsheets, the basics, automatic data entry, reports, database maintenance tools and where to go for more information and downloads. We demonstrate how Klusterbox can save you time and provide for a more thorough investigation. All we are saying is give Klusterbox a chance.


Klusterbox Install for Windows (version 4.001)

In this tutorial, we show how to download and install Klusterbox for windows. That's a pretty important step to getting started with Klusterbox. You're going to need to know how to get past Windows Defender but on the plus side, Klusterbox now has an installer and works like a real program! Klusterbox just ranked up and wants you respawn on your PC.


Klusterbox Legacy Install (version 4.001)

Old habits die hard and for those of you true believers who've been using Klusterbox since before it went mainstream, we offer Klusterbox Legacy because maybe you've grown attached to your kb_sub folder. Klusterbox Legacy is really just Klusterbox without the installer but it will give you an ungodly amount of old school cred.


Klusterbox Basics (version 4.001)

In this tutorial, we go through the processes of building/ updating a carrier list and entering clock rings with the Klusterbox's Automatic Data Entry. With Automatic Data Entry you can investigate the grievance and print off your Improper Mandate Spreadsheets before the coffee finishes brewing. You are going to save so much time.


Klusterbox PDF Converter (version 4.001)

So you've submitted an information request asking for the Employee Everything Report in both csv and pdf format, but what you've gotten was the Employee Everything Report in just the pdf format. Since Klusterbox needs the csv format, you need a way to convert that PDF into a csv file which Klusterbox can read. Well, the PDF Converter can convert that pdf into a csv file which Klusterbox can read.


Klusterbox Dynamic Carrier List (version 4.001)

Dynamic Carrier List have been a mainstay of Klusterbox since version 1.0, but new tools in version 4.001 allow you to keep track of those changes, generate reports and even delete those carriers completely. With Klusterbox, you build a Carrier List ONCE, then you make occasional changes when needed to keep things up to date. With Klusterbox you can update new changes and keep the old changes and, in fact, keep ALL the changes.


Klusterbox Multiple Move Functionality (version 4.001)

Multiple Move Functionality has been a part of your Klusterbox arsenal since version 1.0, but now there's a seven minute tutorial explaining it in depth. If your supervisor can mandate a carrier off of their route more than once, then you can investigate more than once. Relax because computers are so much better at math than you are.


Klusterbox Tolerances (version 4.001)

In this tutorial, we cover how to use and adjust tolerances, both inside the Klusterbox interface and on the improper mandate spreadsheet. Zero them out, go with the defaults or set them to your preferences. Cut down on the clutter!

Klusterbox OverMax or 12/60 Hour Violations Spreadsheet (version 4.001)

In this tutorial, we cover an original Klusterbox innovation, the 12/60 Hour Violations Spreadsheet, also known as the Over Max Spreadsheet. We'll go through article 8.5 of the JCAM as well as the Over Max Spreadsheet and explain how Klusterbox is simplifying this complex problem of 12/60 violations while capturing ALL violations. Now we're cooking with electricity!


Klusterbox Automatic Over Max Finder (version 4.001)

In this tutorial, we cover the Automatic Over Max Finder - it's program that reads an Employee Everything Report in the csv format and generates a report on violations of article 8.5.G of the National Contract. This precursor of the OverMax Spreadsheet won't pick up everything though. While I recommend using Automatic Data Entry combined with the OverMax Spreadsheet, the Over Max Finder is a quick and powerful tool you can use to get your fellow Union members about 90% of the justice they are entitled to.


Klusterbox: Backing Up Your Database (version 4.001)

You want to make sure you don't lose any of your information, so here is a tutorial on backing up your database. You will quest through your computer's file system and into hidden folders to find the fabled mandates.sqlite database. Copy it to a flash drive, put it in your sock and impress your friends. Or just upload it to the cloud... whatever, the choice is yours.


Klusterbox SpeedSheets: Demonstration (version 4.002)

How fast can you manually enter data for your article 8 investigation? Now you can do it faster with SpeedSheets. In this tutorial you get a full understanding of SpeedSheet layout, move set syntax, editing carrier information and clock rings, how to read reports and SpeedSheet menu options - all in under 15 minutes.


Klusterbox SpeedSheets: Getting Started (version 4.002)

Let's build a carrier list and fill in clock rings and let's start on the ground floor with an empty SpeedSheet. Keeping track of equitability on the overtime desired list over the course of a quarter can be a daunting task which requires a lot of data and a lot of calculations. If you can bring the data, then Klusterbox can do the calculating. Klusterbox records preferences, make up opportunities and refusals, then draws on carrier information and clock rings to cook up a conclusive analysis in the form of a spreadsheet.
